Rescue Roast Coffee Fundraiser

Buy coffee, help Lola. It's that simple!

We are currently raising funds to help Lola get needed surgery. It will be expensive, but she is so worth it. This sweet girl needs surgery to correct cranial cruciate ruptures in both of her knees.

Our friends at RaiseMoneyForPets.com have launched a line of Rescue Roast Gourmet Coffee in our honor and are donating ALL proceeds directly to us! There is a limited supply and the cost is only $6 per bag of freshly ground gourmet coffee with our logo on it!

All proceeds from the coffee will go towards subsidizing Lola's surgery.

Memorial Day Parade - May 27

Please come join us while we walk in the 2013 Memorial Day Parade while we honor military working dogs. This year's parade takes place at 9:00 a.m. on Monday May 27th--starting on 8th St. in downtown Manitowoc. Please email the Lakeshore Humane Society's volunteer coordinator for more information regarding community service or to sign up to walk a shelter dog at lhsvolco@gmail.com.

We Are Running Out Of Room.

The Shelter has over 100 cats and 30 dogs available for adoption. Many have been sponsored, which means part of their adoption fee has already been paid for you. We also offer a 50% Senior Citizen discount and 50% off senior pets. If you would like to adopt or foster one of our great animals please stop by the shelter or check them out on Facebook and Petfinder.

Volunteers Needed.

LHS is in great need of volunteers to help out with the daily laundry and dishes, morning or evening cat cubby care at Petco one day a week, and transportation of LHS animals to and from veterinary clinics some weekdays.

Thank you for sparing some of your valuable time to make the homeless animals comfortable while waiting for their forever family to adopt them.
