If you have lost your pet, please contact LHS at 920.684.5401 to fill out a lost animal report.

To reclaim your stray pet, you must show proof of current rabies vaccination or proof of pre-paid rabies vaccination purchase.

If reclaimed dog resides in the city of Manitowoc or Two Rivers and unlicensed, licensing will be required at time of reclaim.

Our reclaim fees are as follows:

• Microchipped animals - $25.00 for the first day; $10.00 per day thereafter
• Non-microchipped animals - $35.00 for the first day (includes microchip); $10.00 per day thereafter.

Stray animals brought to the shelter are on a four-day hold for cats and a seven-day hold for dogs that starts the day they arrive. After the seven-day period, animals need to receive a full medical examination (with vaccinations), spayed/neutered and temperament-tested before being made available for adoption.
