| Recycle Aluminum Cans |
Collect your aluminum cans and turn them into cash for LHS! Waste Management has kindly donated a large aluminum receptacle at LHS, so save up those cans and drop them off at your convenience. Even better, Muchin’s has generously agreed to pay LHS 10 cents more than the current rate for aluminum recycling!
| Fundraising Events |
A fundraising event is only as successful as the work before, during and after the event. Join one of our volunteer groups for our largest fundraising events, such as the Walk for Kindness, Putting for Pets or annual Rummage Sale. There are hours of behind-the-scenes work required to put these events together, such as creating gift baskets for raffles, calling upon local businesses for donations/sponsorships and more!

Are you extremely organized with an eye for detail? Help us set up our new adoptive families for success by assembling our adoption folders that contain helpful information related to animal health and resources.
| Marketing & Public Relations |
Do you have writing experience? Do you enjoy networking and creating partnerships? There are several marketing and public relations opportunities, including writing newsletter articles and press releases, managing corporate sponsorship information, helping publicize fundraising events and more. Put those skills to use for a good cause today!
| Community Fundraising Errands |
Do you have a few hours each month to run errands for LHS? We can always use help managing our donation banks and other fundraising stations throughout the community. Our local business generously donate the space and our volunteers help make sure we preform timely collection and maintenance.
